Sanguem — Goa Assembly Election Results
Sanguem elected Subhash U. Phal Dessai (Bharatiya Janata Party) to the Goa Legislative Assembly at the 2012 election. This page covers every Goa assembly election on record for Sanguem from 1967 to 2012.
This page shows the winning MLA's name and party for each election on record, not vote totals or margins for every candidate -- see the sourcing note below for what is and isn't included. Goa was redelimited nationwide in 2008 (based on the 2001 census); four constituencies used until 2007 (Dargalim, Loutolim, Poinguinim, and Pale) don't recur under those names in 2012 -- their territory was folded into renamed or redrawn seats. Before 1987, Goa's assembly was shared with the then-territory of Daman and Diu; those two seats have been excluded here since they were never part of Goa itself.
